Dr. Oldenburg immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 2 from Sweden. He attended college at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He graduate Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry. After completing a M.D. degree and a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he did his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Minnesota. For 7 years he practiced in Crystal, MN, at Northwest Family Physicians. From August 2004 through August 2005 he did a sabbatical year in Sweden, during which he obtained a Swedish and a Norwegian Medical License.
In accordance with his interest in art and international travel, Dr. Oldenburg now concentrates on immigration medicine and urgent care!
